This diagram shows an old favourite of Forkbeard - rotating "roller-blind" backgrounds (in this case two sides of an endlessly rolling corridor). Re-discovering and re-inventing techniques used in the early years of movie-making provides great comic possibilities. This is also a technique we get people to explore in our Animation Workshops.
